About IEEE IAS SBC CEK

The Industry Applications Society Student Branch Chapter was formed in IEEE Student Branch College of Engineering Karunagappally with 6 founding members on the year 2017 under the supervision of the Chapter advisor Mrs. Sabeena K. Since inception, IEEE IAS SBC CEK conducted many events which created notable reputation among the IAS student branches in Kerala. The Student branch chapter won numerous awards and has a steady membership growth. The IEEE IAS SBC CEK always showcased the importance of industrial life and it's benefits to each students of the Student Branch via organising industrial visits, industry related sessions by experts and many more

2022 IEEE International Power and Renewable Energy Conference (IPRECON) is the 3rd edition of India's first Club of 6 Technical Paper Conference organized by IEEE Student Branch College of Engineering Karunagappally (IEEE SB CEK), technically sponsored by IEEE IAS, IEEE PES and IEEE PELS. IPRECON provides a platform for students and professionals from all around the world to share their findings in the fields of Power, Renewable Energy and Computing Technologies. With the theme “Engineering the sustainable world with Renewable Energy Resources through ingenious computing technologies”, the conference will be held on the 25th, 26th and 27th of November 2022 at College of Engineering Karunagappally, Kerala, India.

The conference proceeding will be submitted to the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library.
20% of the presented conference papers will be eligible for further review and possible publication in IEEE IAS Periodicals.
